A Bit More on the Great Four

Image
Why does a pyramid have four sides? A pyramid is a monument to what humanity is. It is heavy in mass But has fire... pyre, a divine spark in its midst... amid It is aligned, in its mass, to this planet, harmoniously  North, South, East and West. As are our bodies,  Our space suits, specific to this earth.

The Great Four

Four describes the circle of our reality.  Wherever we go we are surrounded. North, east, south, and west Lay down. Head, left hand, butt, and right hand Consciousness, emotion/feeling, sexuality, energy/doing Swords, cups, coins and wands Air, water, earth, and fire  Winter, spring, summer, and fall Sun, Moon, Venus and Mercury Yule, Imbolc, Beltain, and Samhain  Around and around like a wheel This is Frodo's ring - so alluring,  so fatal, if it traps you, and yet The key to our deliverance. For it is a wheel in a rut, or it is a stairway to heaven.  ~~~ In winter time,  When the cold wind blows, Across the old North Sea, I see Nuada, riding forth Sword raised in salute to me. "Come lay thee down And dream a dream  Of what will come to be," says he. In spring  The Maiden of the Moon  Comes, with a gleaming cup. Urgently she presses me "Mother! Mother! Summer comes.  Its time that thee wake-up!&qu

Hare Symbolism III

Image
This is an old article, and I see it has spread, so I will offer a much better insight for you.  The image of a rabbit or hare can be seen formed by the craters/shadows on a full moon. We all perceive this consciously or unconsciously.  As the moon has it's cycles it is associated with women and their menses.  As it is proverbial in our culture that rabbits or hares are very prolific, we also associate this animal, in dream interpretation, with productivity in general and especially reproduction. We also see timidity in the hare or rabbit. We have the Easter Bunny, the Dumb Bunny, the Playboy Bunny, Bugs Bunny... cultural associations are important to understand... the sacred has a sense of humor.  These are the associations that will be banging around in your subconscious if you are an average westerner. Context matters in narrowing down the intended meaning. It takes practice, but symbolism is the language of God, so I study it.

Mr Woodturner has some better pictures of his beautiful eggs. I just wanted to show the new ones here. And also mention that the size of these is between a handful to a double handful.

Hare Symbolism - Part II

Image
Eostre, the Celtic and Anglo-Saxon goddess of the dawn and fertility, was also associated with the moon, and with mythic stories of death, redemption, and resurrection during the turning of winter to spring. She had the head of a hare and was a shape–shifter, taking the shape of a hare at each full moon. Her consort was a rabbit. All hares were sacred to her, and acted as her messengers. From her name derive the words "east", "estrus", and "Easter". The Briton Queen Boudicca, was said to have worshipped this goddess, and also to have released a Hare before each battle with the Romans, in order to divine the outcome of battle by the Hare's movements. In German mythology the holy day of the goddess Ostara, the maiden, was celebrated at the Vernal Equinox (usually March 20-21) when night and day are equal and balanced. She was depicted as holding an egg (resurrection) in her hand, while a rabbit (fertility) jumped playfully around her feet. One myth says

Hare Symbolism - Part I

The first and foremost association of the hare is to the moon, the cycles of which are symbolic of self-sacrificial death and resurrection. This "death" however, is understood in esoteric symbolism as being death to the mundane human consciousness and a rebirth of the divine consciousness, becoming Christ-like is a spiritual rebirth, not an actual physical death and rebirth or resurrection (rebirth referring to reincarnation, and resurrection being the reanimation of the dead physical body). In Buddhist myth, Buddha places Rabbit on the moon as a reward when Rabbit voluntarily gave himself as food for one of Buddha's hungry friends. In another myth it is Buddha himself who is the rabbit and he sacrifices his flesh for the sustenance of the god Brahma, who is so pleased with this selfless act that he paints the image of the hare on the moon as a remembrance of the event. Buddha, the hare, escapes the flames unscathed because his spiritual transformation has immortalized hi

Working with Mr Woodturner on some sales pics for his online shop. This is some of the work I've done so far... will be more though as he has boxes of original hand-turned product he has decided, at the moment, he might sell, for the right price. His house is full of this stuff... I am thinking I'l recommend more contrast between the objects and background in, some and less in others. As you can see we have some problems, but the files are nice and big, and the product is beautiful. Just need to get that across to potential buyers. Keep ya updated.

Walter de la Mare: In the black furor of a field I saw an old witch-hare this night; And she cocked a lissome ear, And she eyed the moon so bright, And she nibbled of the green; And I whispered "Whsst! witch-hare," Away like a ghostie o’er the field She fled, and left the moonlight there.

Dream Interpretation #2

Image
This dream, which I have permission to use, is from a person I will call Seer, as the dreams this person has are both very informative and true. Seer's Dream: Had a really interesting dream It seemed to be set in Egypt Giant bowling ball sized scarabs plagued the Nile so we couldn’t drink from it I traveled across the desert with a man and a woman The woman was a little weak. She couldn’t handle the desert But the guy was wise, a seer. And he was also me She rushed towards the Nile but I restrained her, knowing the scarabs were there Then I saw a flashback of how they came to be in the Nile It was an Egyptian colony of gods In their youth they were more godlike, but they were conquerors  Later they became modernized. They grew fat and corrupt Wore dirty T-shirt’s and jean shorts rather than flowing robes There was a man who was the leader. He had a sister and he had a child. In my flashback I saw him at the beginning of the Nile river. It was split in

In China and Japan there is an association between horses and monkeys.  Monkeys are depicted riding on horseback; which may not seem noteworthy until you understand what is meant by it.  There are several phrases originating in Buddhist writings that literally mean "heart monkey, mind horse" or “mind monkey, heart horse” referring to the restless, unruly consciousness of the common person.  One who’s mind is untrained, like a monkey, so that it has no control over the horse, which, as a vehicle, represents the body.  When the body is in charge of our reality we are in the grip of our survival instincts.  We will stay in the barn, or abusive marriage, even though we can see it is burning down.  When the monkey is in control of our minds we are not making conscious choices.  We have no insight, and react to our environment out of habitual programs in our brain. With no thought of choice or higher truths.   In modern Buddhist meditation practices

Dream Interpretation. Example #1

One of the things I do, and have done for decades now, is dream interpretation. One of my clients gave me permission to use their session here on my blog and Fiverr account. So here goes: The Dream "I was on a world I made. Not mine but one I allowed other people to be on  I was their maker, and their family  My humanity in creating it made it fall into chaos  People fought with each other in a Viking/Old-English way  Half was brutal and destructive the other half was almost heavenly and evolved but still had to fight to protect their people  I was on horseback with them in the snowy forest  P. was there We were looking for enemies  Not to fight, but to prepare ourselves for what we knew was coming  P and I were dressed in modern clothes like what we would wear now  I didn’t need much, just a sweater, light clothing  Everyone else was dressed in leather clothing and some fur  I found smoke from a fire and yelled to the head
